Booklets & Programs

Perfect-bound or saddle-stitched booklets

Booklets & Programs printing services

When you have more content than a brochure can hold, booklets are the answer. From event programs and product catalogs to training manuals and annual reports, a professionally bound booklet adds authority and permanence to your printed materials.

Overview

Available in three popular sizes with four binding options. Saddle stitch (stapled spine) is economical for booklets up to about 64 pages. Perfect binding (glued spine) gives a polished, book-like appearance for thicker publications. Wire-O spiral binding allows pages to lay completely flat. Three-hole drill prepares pages for standard binders.

Why Choose Ink Spot Printing

We handle booklet production from start to finish: file preparation, imposition, printing, binding, and trimming. Our prepress team sets up page imposition to ensure every spread aligns perfectly through the fold. We verify page counts, check for creep compensation on thicker saddle-stitched booklets, and inspect binding quality throughout the run.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between saddle stitch and perfect binding?

Saddle stitch uses staples through the spine fold — it is lightweight, economical, and works well up to about 64 pages. Perfect binding uses a glued spine like a paperback book — it has a professional, finished look and works for thicker publications (typically 28+ pages). Perfect bound booklets can have text printed on the spine.

Do page counts have to be in multiples of 4?

For saddle-stitched booklets, yes — page counts must be multiples of 4 (8, 12, 16, 20, etc.) because each printed sheet creates four pages. Perfect bound booklets are more flexible but multiples of 4 are still most cost-effective.
